12 Jun Increasing the awareness of the OxyBatt project
The first year of activity of the OxyBatt project ended on April 30; the project began on May 1, 2024 and had its kick-off in Barcelona, at IREC’s headquarters, a few days later.
It’s been 12 very intense months, in which the partners have been able to work on the technical-scientific aspects, business development and dissemination of the project results. The results obtained so far by the partners have allowed the OxyBatt solution to be presented during numerous international events.
From a scientific point of view, engaging the community is important to obtain validation and open potential discussion tables on the aspects inherent to the development of the solution. In this sense, participation in conferences and seminars has strengthened the community’s perception of the goodness of the approach that the OxyBatt consortium is implementing.
The discussion with industrial stakeholders has been equally important to acquire important information from potential end-users and to further define the solution’s requirements. For this reason, in the past 12 months the project partners have pushed hard on the participation in events such as fairs and workshops where it was possible to interact with the industrial component.

Next week the first review meeting of the project will take place in front of the European Commission and a panel of experts: the meeting will be the opportunity for the OxyBatt partners to share the progress of the project and plan the activities for the next months, which we expect will be full of news.
